Coeur d'Alene

My family spent a week hanging out on beautiful lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho. It was great to have so much cousin time. Such a special week. Here are some highlights:

We decided to have the inaugural family olympic games. Nonny and Boompa were team USA, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Adam, Lincoln and Kason were team Italy, Adam, Greta and I were team Germany, and Darcy and Easton were team Mexico. We didn't get to play as many games as we thought we would, but with second place in chicken feet, and domination in both Yahtzee and Bocce Ball, team Germany came out with the win. Nummer eins!

Darcy, Adam and I rode the Route of the Hiawatha bike trail one day. It was a gorgeous 17 mile trek through tunnels and over trestles that used to be part of the Milwaukee Railroad. We had a blast!

We celebrated July 4th in style. Aunt Darcy bought the cousins all matching onsies and shirts. We had so much fun dressing them up and taking pictures.

Greta was seriously ready to party
Our favorite part of the trip was all of the fun boat rides. We were able to tour the lake, go water skiing and watched the July 4th fireworks from the town of Coeur d'Alene (and later from John Elway's place just a few houses over).
Making sure greta was safe, shaded and warm. Lincoln loved the boat rides too. "Fast again!"

Thanks to Nonny and Boompa for coordinating such a wonderful trip. We all had so much fun and can't wait for the next family get together!
